Goals of an Evaluation
“Put the pieces together” - many families have an understanding of all the parts of their child but aren’t sure what that means or how to make sense of everything together. I can help explain how those parts fit together.
Gain a deeper understanding of your child’s strengths and vulnerabilities.
Develop ways to support your child by cultivating their strengths and making accommodations to help them develop their areas of need.

Importance of Psychological Testing
Every child is unique, and our psychological testing and assessment services delve into the individuality of each child. Aimed at understanding a child's performance in comparison to peers of the same age, our assessments offer crucial insights into the way the child thinks, learns, feels and behaves.
When children encounter challenges in learning, development, or behavior, it becomes pivotal to unravel the complexities involved. Psychological testing serves as a valuable tool to gauge the extent of these challenges, as well as identify their strengths, and provides a roadmap for the near future. We are dedicated to unraveling the intricacies of your child's psychological landscape to foster optimal growth and development.
Psychological Evaluation
Psychological evaluations help answer questions such as, “Is my child anxious?” or “Does my child have ADHD?” or “Is my child’s emotional dysregulation typical?” Answers to these questions help guide treatment.
The evaluation will comprehensively assess your child's cognitive processes, learning style, emotional responses, and behavioral tendencies. It will identify and highlight their distinctive strengths and vulnerabilities.
Autism Evaluation
Autism evaluations can determine if the child’s behaviors are consistent with autism spectrum disorder. A profile of the child’s strengths and needs is provided with recommendations for supporting your child.
The assessment not only facilitates an understanding of your child's individual strengths and vulnerabilities but also offers guidance on services and interventions tailored to meet the specific needs of your family.
Psychoeducational Evaluation
Psychoeducational evaluations answer questions such as, “Why is my child struggling in math/reading/writing?” or “Does my child have dyslexia/dysgraphia/dyscalculia?” or “Is my child gifted?”
The evaluation will provide an understanding of your child’s intellectual abilities and how their intelligence is expressed in their reading, writing, and math skills.
